Hi
As per the requirment DBA suggest me I need to add inner join in from clause
Previuosly the BO generated query is like this
Need to change in universe leavel.
SELECT vw_Subscriber.Alias, vw_DTMFAccessID.DTMFAccessID AS 'Extension', vw_DTMFAccessID.IsPrimaryID
FROM vw_Subscriber
ON vw_DTMFAccessID.ParentObjectID=vw_Subscriber.SubscriberObjectId ,vw_CallHandler ON
vw_ContactRule.ParentObjectId=vw_CallHandler.CallHandlerObjectId
WHERE vw_Subscriber.SubscriberType IN ('1','3')
i have two questions.
1)Now i need to modify by adding INNER Join vw_DTMFAccessID,vw_DTMFAccessID as below
SELECT vw_Subscriber.Alias, vw_DTMFAccessID.DTMFAccessID AS 'Extension', vw_DTMFAccessID.IsPrimaryID
FROM vw_Subscriber INNER JOIN vw_DTMFAccessIDON vw_DTMFAccessID.ParentObjectID=vw_Subscriber.SubscriberObjectId ,vw_CallHandler INNER JOIN vw_DTMFAccessID
ON vw_ContactRule.ParentObjectId=vw_CallHandler.CallHandlerObjectId
WHERE vw_Subscriber.SubscriberType IN ('1','3')
where i need to change in from cluase
2)I need to change the join order in from clause ,so my query is like this
SELECT vw_Subscriber.Alias, vw_DTMFAccessID.DTMFAccessID AS 'Extension', vw_DTMFAccessID.IsPrimaryID
FROM vw_CallHandler INNER JOIN vw_DTMFAccessID
ON vw_ContactRule.ParentObjectId=vw_CallHandler.CallHandlerObjectId ,vw_Subscriber INNER JOIN vw_DTMFAccessID
ON vw_DTMFAccessID.ParentObjectID=vw_Subscriber.SubscriberObjectId
WHERE vw_Subscriber.SubscriberType IN ('1','3')
where i need to change in the universe leavel
Thanks in advance
U can any time custmize your joins conditions and order in the designer. Custmize as the way u want in the Joins property. save it.
Expoert the universe bfore using it.

Hi,
As per Amith you create the link and then create a context for that links, so that it will give you proper result.

Hi,
Go to the universe designer and open the universe.
Select both table or click on the join link between two tables.. select both tables IDs and select the = operator for inner join between two tables.
Thanks,
Amit
