What I was missing that was I was using the existing specs. What I did was, maintained the printer speifications.

I want to get the inspection method printed when the inspection lot is generated.
1. In configuration, for inspection type maintenance for the particular inspection type, select "print insp. instrucn. immediately"
2. Maintain print control CQ85 for inspection instruction
3. Create inspection method by QS31, release, save.
4. Assign to inspection method against inspection characteristic in inspection plan.
5. Create lot. while saving method should be printed.
As explained by you the steps I have already maintained. But I am not sure whether my CQ85 maintenance is correct.
Can you please advice .
