Hi,
I have two different smartforms in the same system. Both with main windows that contain table types.
The one has a table type that I can create in a new smartform that is very restrictive, and creates rows and cells for the rows based on the row types. The icon for this table type in the smartform painter is a white table with a blue header and 3columns, first one being yellow.
The other has a different table type that I cannot replicate in a new smartform (but would want to) where the row types are less restrictive. The icon for this table type is different form the first, and looks like a white table with a yellow star in the middle.
How can I create a table type in my new smart form of the second type?!
I have done it before by copying a smartform that has this node type in it, but that doesnt help me understand, and seems like the long way around.
Those tables "[Old table node|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/b8/b60cce2cb611d5b692006094192fe3/content.htm]" ([icon|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/b8/b60cce2cb611d5b692006094192fe3/Image2222.gif]) are no longer allowed, look at [Node Types: Overview|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/d2/69a148cd8b11d3b563006094192fe3/frameset.htm]
These tables are still contained in forms created before Release 6.10. You can modify them but not create new ones.
so
copying a smartform that has this node type in it
seems to be the only way to create one (or create in an old system and transport)

Raymond
