Problem with attaching document types .docx or .xlsx to business objects

I am using BDS for attaching documents to a business object. The documents get attached to the business object

but my problem is that when i try to view documents of type .docx and .xlsx i get a message saying 'Attachment

list Error saving the document to a temperory file'. I don't have a problem viewing documents of type .doc

or .xls. I have new created configurations in transactions OAC2 and OAC3 for document types .docx and .xlsx.

The function module i am using for creating documents is BDS_BUSINESSDOCUMENT_CREA_TAB.

Any inputs on the above would be good to know.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. But, i was not able to implement those oss notes as the current highest support package we are currently using is SAPKB70208, Software component - SAP-BASIS.

Kindly let me know if you have more inputs.

could you please read SAP notes 1237688 and 1364402 which could help to get this kind of issue solved.

From DMS point of view I can only suggest you to read note 1289314.
