Printing file from local drive to smartforms

Hi SAP Gurus,

My requirement is as follows,

I have a file on my pc, I need to print that file in SAP using smartforms.

I have searched forums and found way to print PDF file from desktop to smartforms,. However the problem is the format of the file is not fixed, It can be .pdf or .xls or .txt or .doc.

Please suggest,

Hi Pavan,

This is discussed number of times.Use the program RSTXPDFT4.For this form you have to give spool no then it will covert into pdf and you can save it on desktop. check this and post.

I have asked how to print a XL file from pc in smart forms, not how to download in pdf.

Hi Pavan,

Here i have few questions.Print xls which is on desktop.So yo have to upload that data into table other wise you can not print from smartform.

My overall requirement is to print file from DMS. So, I have downloaded the file to local pc,

Now I am facing problem in printing that file using samrtforms.
