LSMW Stock upload intital entry with Serial numbers

Hi,

We have a requirement to upload stock for data migration.

We can use LSMW 0110 Goods Movement for this.

However we also have materials with serial numbers in a 1 to N relation (a material can have several serial numbers). For example Material 1000456 has a stock quantity of 10 with 10 unique serial numbers.

With LSMW 0110 when uploading stock, one can only upload 1 serial number per stock upload. In other words if a material has 10 serial numbers (stock = 10) one has to upload 10 lines each with a stock of +1 and its serial number. This will then result into 10 goods movement documents, which is not quite nice :-(.

Does any one knows if there is a different LSMW (IDOC or BAPI) that can be used of has any idea how to handle this?
