Hello All,

/usr/sap/ccms filesystem is 100% full.

We found that sapccmsr_1st.log is using 156MB out of 199MB allocated to this filesystem.

Please suggest whether we can delete file sapccmsr_1st.log.

And also the impact if any

Well as far as I understand you can remove any log file without causing harm to the system.

If it is really troubling you. Move the file to a some other place or zip the file .

Both are safe option in case if you later find out that you need the log file you can retrive it.

Thanks a lot for the answer Hussain, In my case after sometime that particular log got reduced to 0 automatically. No idea how...

There are reorganization jobs that run in SAP system, that deletes log file and other trace file over a period of time.

Check out standard sap reorg jobs. If you need increase the frequency of deletion
