Delivery already contained in shipment

Hi Friends,

"Delivery already contained in shipment" this is the error message displayed while trying to delete the delivery document. I understand that the delivery document is still assigned in shipment document and system cannot delete the delivery document if there is a subsequent document.

User has deleted the shipment document and we are not sure whether he removed the assignment of delivery document in shipment document. When we check in VT03N and in VTTK table, system says the document is archived or nt available. But in VBFA and document flow screen for delivery document, shipment document number is still reflecting.

Is this is the standard functionality of the system or there is something wrong performing the transactions.

Ensure that shipment cost is not created. Also check in VTFA table

It sounds a inconsistence since VBFA entries for vbeln = delivery must be also removed.

Hi,

Remove it from VBPA table or any other document flow table and then check.
