Hi,
I have a few queries in S&D.
1) While creating sales orders, sales office and sales group are copied from customer master, but sales district field is not
present in the sales order screen. Why?
2) So if sales district is not entered in sales order, does that mean it is not possible to create reports on sales district-wise
sales?
3) If partial delivery indicator is set in customer master, then is the remaining quantity to be delivered counted in underdelivery? If
so, then is it that underdelivery must be set?
4) If customer is extended for multiple sales areas, then while creating sales order, by default for which sales area, the order is
created if the sales area is not entered?
6) When extending customer, then along with sales area data, why customer group has to be entered. Isn't it that a customer
should belong to one group at any instance.
Answer 3 - Partial delivery indicator is set, that means the quantity in a sales order can be delivered in more than 1 deliveries. This has nothing to do with underdelivery concept.
Underdelivery means the tolerance that is acceptable to the customer with regards to deviation from the quantity in sales order. E.g. 10% underdelivery, Sales order = 100EA, delivery =95EA is tolerated / permitted.
If you want to deliver = 80EA, you can NOT do that.
Same concept for Overdelivery.
A 4 - If CMR is assigned to multiple sales areas, then in VA01, you shall get a pop-up to choose the sales area IF you haven't given any sales area with sales order type upfront in VA01
