How to open the standard business package files for customization?

Hi

Can anyone please let me know how we can open standard business packages through the NWDS for customization. I need to do some customization for 1 business package. But when i open up the specific apps, i m not able to find the corresponding .ear or project file. Hence not able to open through netweaver. They all r web dynpro apps.

Hi anupreet

If your business packages contains webdynpro applications then you will go for NWDS for customization.Actually the business packages are in the format .sda,.sca or some BP s are in .epa format.First you convert this format to .rar file using either WinRar or win Zip.Then you find .ear files.Go to the NWDS

file-import the required ear files as per you requirements you can customize now.
