Hello all
I recently did a memory upgrade from 12gb to 16 GB.
When i had 12GB at the PROFILE the:
PHYS_MEMSIZE was 12288 and the
em/initial_size_MB = 6144
Now with 16G the
PHYS_MEMSIZE is set up to 16384
em/initial_size_MB = 14336
Is this the only 2 locations which i need to change somehting?
This is my Productive server and i have one instance of SAP running there.
My SWAP file in the HDD is 33GB defined.
the thing is that the note from SAP 44816 is not wokring any more and in SAP the transactions with
st02 u see the memory use of SAP, and in db02 u see the physical memory.
Maybe i am missing smthing?
thx in advance.
Hello,
With note 88416 dont use
em/initial_size_MB not used by Windows comment it out
If you have CI and db on same host set PHYS_MEMSIZE 70% of memory

Hi Kostas Koulis

Hi,
Seems that the note 44816 is released internally by SAP.
Did you try Note 41552 - Very large or missing entries for table size?
