Document distribution using ALE

Hi Again,

I need to copy the documents from one Content Repository to another using ALE(Application Link Enabling). Any idea on this ?

In my previous thread I tried with out ALE, but cline require the data should move using ALE. Need to copy ONLY selected DIRs from one Content repository to another.

Hi,

Without trying to be funny the question you are asking does not make sense.

The DIR data resides in the SAP instance. The actual document itself resides in the Content respository. So technically speaking there are no DIR's in a Content Repository....only files (*.pdf, *.doc, etc)

It is possible to replicate DIR's from one location to another using ALE.

It is also possible to move content (documents in the content resposity) from one repository to another.
