Web Dynpro Theme Netweaver 7.3

Hi,

I have some questions regarding Wdb Dynpro themes on SAP Netweaver 7.3.

Is the theme editor still working with NW 7.3?

There are some different requirements at the moment. First of all, I want a to run a stand-alone WD Java app with a custom theme. Secondly I want to run another WD app within the NW 7.3 portal with a custom theme. The problem is, that only this one application should use the custom theme. No other app shoudl use it.

Anybody here who could help me with this issues?

Hi Bernd,

I am not aware if there is a custom theme plugin available for CE 7.3 but for using custom theme only for specific web dynpro java application you need to pass the theme file in the paramter sap-cssurl

eg:

http://host:port//webdynpro/dispatcher/local/test/testApp?sap-cssurl=theme location

First of all, yes, the theme editor still works.

regarding your requirement, i cant recall if the display rules support applications. but you may attempt to somehow run the custom themed application with a different user that has a display rule attached to it that doesnt have the new custom theme assigned to the user.
