unable to delete transport request

Hi Team,

The Standalone sandbox with ECC 6.0

Im deleting the transport request , getting error unable to delete the tranport request

Cannot open log:
hostname\sapmnt\trans\log\CC000036.SID.

Kinldy assist me in solving the issue .

Better try to restart the server once and try. Suspect the log file would have got locked

Hi,

Are you trying to remove the transport request from the STMS buffer? This only removes the TR from the buffer. It still stays in the system. If you want to delete the transport request altogether then remove from SE01.

Check if the file
hostname\sapmnt\trans\log\CC000036.SID exists. If so, then make sure it has proper authorizations. It should be accessible by <sid>adm and SAPService<SID> if Windows host. Also the trans directory should be accesible by the two users.

It seems this standalone sandbox is not able to access this share '
hostname\sapmnt'.

Is this 'hostname' the different host than the standalone sandbox host ? If yes, then make this share accessible to the sandbox.
