First Maintain plant level specific settings
if You can explain the business scenario in brief , i can design this , however look into following requirements
after maintaining the plant level settings
1. Define new control keys based on the business requirement ?
2. Do they require certificate types ? incase yes check & create new certificate types as per the requirement
3. Look at the requirements of Quality scores ? Create UD codes accordingly
Also look into the catalogues and codes required in type 1 for inspection purpose .
4. Assign tasklist types to material types
5. Study the requirements of Notiifcation ? Look if there is need for new notification types or you are able to map it in standard . Incase you are not able to then i will give you the detailed step wise process once you send me the scenario?
6. Incase Calibration inspection is applicable ensure that U link the order type with inspection type
7. Check if there are activities were the inspection department requires any special inspection types
Once i know your business scenario i can add more value to your question for configuration
Deepak
Hi,
As per my view, you do not have to do much of configuration for QM generally.
Thanks
