Set alv layout in background in CV04N

Dear experts,

I would like to know if is possible to set in background the alv layout in transaction CV04N , depending on the document type. We have several document types, each one with different characteristics.

For this you will have to develope a report which will show the result as per your requirement.

Hi,

If I understand your requirement correctly, you would like different CV04N layouts for different Documents Types.

You can use the layout button (on cv04n) to create all the different views that you would like & then save each view.

After you have done your search & are on the hitlist screen use the 'Choose' layout button to select the view you would like.

You can make the views User Specific or Global.

I have created different layouts for different document types, but my requirement for the layout is to be selected automatically in function of the document type.
