Hi,

I would like to restrict the developed VC application to a specific list of roles. I know that it can be done through role assignment at the portal end but looking out for other options like, VC application while loading checks for the accessing user' s authorization and is available only for those users who are authorized to use and for rest to display the message as - 'Sorry, you are not authorized to access this page."

Any helpful (pointers/ suggestions) will be highly appreciated.

Hi Vipin,

you should use the role assignment possibilities at the portal. Directly restricting out of your VC application is the completely wrong way. And more like this: I cannot think of any possibility how to do that out of VC.

As far as i know we cannot do it in VC application,please refer the security guide of Visual Composer it say

Visual Composer does not implement any separate user administration mechanism apart from the one provided by the portal.
