Barcode 39 giving problems

Hi Experts

In One of my requirement I am using the barcode symbology code 39. My problem is when the user scans it. it giving extra character some times, for ex: if I print 2049998 as barcode, but when I read it thorough barcode scanner it is showing 204998E or some other thing.

We are correctly passing the value to the variables. I would like to request you to give me a solution how to overcome from this issue.

Hi,

You didn't say if the same barcode could be read differently?

In that case, that could be an issue with the quality of printing, or with the scanner. You could maybe enhance the quality of both through configuration.

Thanks for your reply. I have done the same thing yesterday and adding one additional thing that is Y coordinate to set for 20. Initially it was 30. As of now no issues and customer also happy.
