Storage Unit Deactivation

Hello All,

I would like to know the steps to deactivate the Storage unit Management for a storage type and warehouse.

It is very urgent and approeciate immediate response..

Hi,

You need to below steps:

1. Move stock to Non -SU mangaged storage type using LT10.

2. Then deactivate SU management for Stype. ( Pls make sure that there should not be any open T.O's,T.R's and PCN's, otherwise it will cause inconsistencies in stock).

3. Again you can trasfer stock to original stype using LT10.

Is it mandatory to trqansfer the stocks to NOn-SU Managed Storage typee?

What will happen if it is not transferred and SUT deactivated.

Hi

It is mandatory. you have to transfer the stock to antoher stype.

If you activate with out stock transfer, it will cause inconsistencies which results the stock can not used further.
