db13 backup error

Dear,

When I run take backup via db13. It give following error

BR0280I BRBACKUP time stamp: 2011-08-27 17.49.26

BR0301E SQL error -27046 at location BrInitOraCreate-5, SQL statement:

'/* BRBACKUP AT PROF_CONN */ CREATE PFILE = '/oracle/PRD/102_64/dbs/sap.ora' FROM SPFILE = '/oracle/PRD/102_64/dbs/spfilePRD.ora''

ORA-27046: file size is not a multiple of logical block size

Additional information: 1

BR0303E Determination of Oracle version failed

BR0056I End of database backup: begqknbq.fnf 2011-08-27 17.49.26

BR0280I BRBACKUP time stamp: 2011-08-27 17.49.26

BR0054I BRBACKUP terminated with errors

i have check all parameter. All is ok.

Hi,

Check the note 917293 - BR*Tools fail with ORA-27046 at BrInitOraCreate-3

Most probably someone must have manually (using vi ) made change to the spfile. Shutdown the database remove the spfile, bring the system using the pfile and create a new spfile. Obviously you have to do comparison between spfile and pfile before that, so that there is no difference , need to remove or add to pfile if there is something less or extra in spfile.
