Error while applying support packs

Hello All,

We are updating the patches in our IDES Server. When we try to increase the SAP_BASIS component, we are getting an error at import phase that is,

Phase CHECK_REQUIREMENTS: Explanation of Errors

Open Data Extraction Requests

The system has found a number of open data extraction requests. These

should be processed before starting the object import process, as

changes to DDIC structures could prevent data extraction requests from

being read after the import, thus causing them to terminate. You can

find more information about this problem in the SAP Notes 1081287,

1083709 and 328181.

Call the Customizing Cockpit data extraction transaction and process all

open extraction requests.

We went through the SAP NOTE 1081287 and treid to delete the entries from setup tables. But the appplication 04 cannot be deleted.

Kindly help us to proceed with the process...?

NOTE : We have updated the SPAM, kernel files to the latest level(137)

OS is Linux 64 bit

DB : Oracle 10g

Thank You,

Regard,

Hasan

Whre are you getting this error ? At import stage or at the begining of the import. The solution is to clear the queue. I have done this multiple time and after following the note it never ask about extracton queue.

This is a IDES system so won't be connected to the BI. There is a option to skip this check have you tried that ?

The issue is solved...

We had to create many indexes. We performed it through T-code SE14.

Thanks for the suggestions,
