stopping transfer of data between DP and SNP

Hi,

The transfer of data between DP and SNP takes around 4 or 5 hours, but if on this time someone connects to the /SAPAPO/SDP94 transaction in DP the job gets canceled. What is it recommend to do on this situation?

By data transfer between DP and SNP , i think you are referring to the forecast release from DP to SNP. You have not mentioned if the 4 hour run time occured because of some recent changes or if it has been that way for ever. Anyways , this looks like a performance issue to me. You servers may be loaded heavily when you run this job (because many other performance intensive jobs may be running in parallel) . Have your basis and dba team check that and see if they can do anything to improve performance. Also , improve the run time of your jobs by putting parallel processing profiles.
