Status customization

Hi team,

The following is the scenario:

lets suppose that i am working on the project on a particular task, after i finish the task, i set the status as "pending-to be completed by <name of the person>" . this means that the next task on the project needs to be completed by the next person for the overall project to proceed.

how can we map this on the system on CProjects?

In a jist how can we customize the status?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

If I understand your requirement correctly, you need a status 'pending-to be completed by <name of the person>'. IMHO this practice should be avoided, since this would not be a standard way to do it.

Instead, why not keep statuses the way they function, and use the 'Task Assignment' functionality?

If you could elaborate the need of such statuses, probably we could think of some work arounds.
