E-Sourcing/CLM 7.0 installation

Hi Gurus,

Am new to E-sourcing/CLM 7.0 envirnoment. As i need some help, how to install E-sourcing/CLM 7.0 on windows/MS sql DB.

I have already gone through service market place, but i didn't get installation docu for MSS DB.

Can some one help on this.

Hi Venkatarao,

If you had check PAM you will have realized that that solution doesn't seem to support MSSQL

Go to http://service.sap.com/pam -> Search for "Sourcing" -> SAP SOURCING 7.0 / CLM 7.0 -> Database Platforms

Only Oracle and DB2 are listed.

So please chek PAM in the future.

ok, but is it a noraml installation or anything is different while installing E-Sourcing/CLM 7.0 on Oracle DB.

Hi Venkat,

For your reference, Sourcing Installation sequence follows like:

1) Select your platform and download the appropriate Media

2) Install Underlying Application Server on which Sourcing Runs (SAP NW CE or NW 7.3 Java App. Server depending upon the sourcing version)

3) Create additional Database for Sourcing

4) Deploy sourcing application on the Underlying application Server

5) Complete Post-installation/ Configuration of SAP Sourcing

That should be all on a high-level, let me know if you have any queries.
