Hi
After Cloning a SandBox system , the full backup and Redo log backups don't work any more.
I ran the './saproot.sh', renamed backintSID.log and then started a new backup. The system wasn't able to recreate the file backintSID.log, the permissions of directory /nsr/applogs are correctely set.
The error massage in backup tool (legato) is :
1 retry attempted
exiting nsrsapsv.
nsrsapsv: /nsr/applogs/nsrsapsv.9699552_tmp size too small. Brbackup may not have ran.
Backup Failed. get_brlog(): brbackup/brarchive is not a SAP Brtools command.
Any help !? I shall be very grateful to you
Regards
Hi,
Many thanks to all of you, the problem was solved.
The cause was some parameter in Legato, they were incorrectly setting.
Regards
Latif

Hi Latif
This isn't a trace file from a database backup. It is the trace from your Offline redologs backup (from the tool BRARCHIVE).
Also, this archive backup isn't using Networker to save the redolog files but is trying to write them to tape attached to the your system /dev/rmt0.1.
Please post a backup log from the /oracle/<SID>/sapbackup directory.
Regards
Doug

Hi Abdellatif,
Could you execute a brbackup process at the OS console, manually and provide its output, here?
Best regards,
