EIC - Employee Authentication

Hi all,

We want to immplement authentication functionality in EIC and we would like to us infotype 0816.

Can any one please guide me how to do this or is there any best way to do.

Thanks for your information, I had already looked at SAP help.

1) do we need to have ESS functionality if we want authentication functionality in EIC with using 816 infotype?

If you can guide me how to archive that will be grate help.

The standard functionality assumes that you are using ESS as that is how an employee will update their security questions. I would you could get creative and develop a workaround process if ESS is not being utilized at your company.
