HI All,
Scenario:
User approves the SC offline.But the approval does not get processed.
Reminder mail is sent after 2 days to approve the SC;then the user approves it again offline.This time the approval is processed.
The SC status is updated to approved.
When the offline approval works for the second y not initially?
Kindly help to understand and determine the cause.
We are using extended classic scenario and SRM version 5

Dear Suupriya!
Please check transaction SOIN. Whenever user approves shopping cart or PO through offline from email (outlook or lotusnotes), there should be entry recorded in SOIN. If you find entry in SOIN, that means the outbound communication is working fine from email to SAP.

Many reasons can explain first offline approval did not work:
- offline approval mail was not received by the SAPConnect,
- offline approval mail was not evaluated by SAPConnect due to bug with asynchronous ( RBBP_OFFLINE _EVAL report) or synchronous (class used in SO50 transaction) treatment,
- user account (sending offline approval mail) was blocked in SRM,
- user have had an end validity date lower than the day of process,
- user's data (e-mail adress and/or communication method) were not correctly maintained during workitem first processing,
- workitem evaluated for offline approval was locked at the same moment,
and so on...
If you use RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL report, check its logs.
