Performance issues while including text

Hi All,

I am developing a smartform (address labels) for China. It needs font to be printed in chinese language.

There are 2 ways

1. Using Includie text using so10

2. Hard coding in Global Definition." generally ignored

Which One of them provides a better performance? BEcause Performance proevs 2 be a major issue.

While using Include Text Aligning becomes difficult & even my smartform gave a dump in Qulaity?

So IS there any other way to include the chinese font?

Hi Kunal,

Use include text from SO10 and to retain alignment use template and within template create the include text.

Instead of SO10, wouldn't you create any "boilerplate" text in SmartForms transaction, as a "text module" entry? Then in your window, you would simply point to the text module name.

Hi

You can use Include Text as Your problem is only alignment you can set an alignment in the paragraph format in smart style and can assign that here in the Standard paragraph of Include text in the Smartform

Hi,

You can write the Chinese text directly in a text node in the smartform. Or you can pass Chinese data from your application print program via a symbol. You need to use MS word as editor for unicode. You need to assign a paragraph format from the style with a Chinese font like e.g. CNHEI or CNSONG.
