Source of Supply - Preferred SC Supplier not transferred into PO

Hi Experts,

we use SRM_SERVER SAPK-70104INSRMSRV.

we created a shopping cart with a preferred supplier. After approval the buyer call function: source of supply. After use function: Create Draft PO the supplier will not be shown.

Call function <Source of Supply>

1. Step: Select Requisition

Result: Preferred Supplier will be shown with a star before <Supplier Name>

2. Step: Assign Sources of Supply

Result: Preferred Supplier will be shown with a star before <Supplier Name>

In this function I press at button <Create Draft> and select <Purchase Order>.

3. Step: Review Drafts

Result: Fields <Supplier Number> and <Supplier Name> are empty.

In this case the created purchase order will not shown the supplier because not available. I never had this behaviour with SRM Rel. 7.00! What's wrong in SRM Rel. 7.01 SP 04 ?

Hi,

This is now standard system behaviour, please see note 1538761 explaining this behaviour. I am however consulting with development on why this change was made in the newer release. As soon as I have further feedback I will update this thread.
