language (SPRAS) value updation

we have an current requirement for Vietnam language (SPRAS) value updation , can somebody please guide how we can update the new language in SAP table ?Actually it is the standard value updation , and hence not permitting to update.

Hi Anup,

I suppose you want to add a new logon language. The BASIS team needs t o install a support patch for the language.

we are using T002/T002T table to update SPRAS value, but when we are going to update the table , it is showing the SPRAS field can maintainable by SAP.So can you pls advice how to update SPRAS field for country Vietnam?

What are you trying to do exactly??

Did you first install Vietnamese language?

Did you do language supplementation? (easier for doing the manual translation)

Do you want to enter Vietnamese texts for existing non-SAP customizing?

Which software release are you running?

firstly you need to check whether your system is unicoded or not.

depending on that you have to take action.

Go to SE16N> INPUT THE TABLE NAME T002 > in the Command field type > &SAP_EDIT> press enter & execute >

then insert a new row and maintain required language and save it.

check it.
