Alerts not getting generated for Adapter engine errors

Hi,

We have configured alerts with "No restriction" option in RWB Alert configuration.

Integration engine alerts (mapping errors) are received into alert inbox. But, adpter engine error (FCC format error, ftp server connectivity error) are not being received in alert inbox.

The communication channel is in red, displaying errors, but no alert is generated for the same.

We checked t-codes SOST, alert inbox, my user id is in fixed recipients. Searched blogs on SDN but could not get solution on this. Please help us here.

Hi Pranav,

As per your design we need to get the alert if there is any error in the adapter. Try to create dummy rule with conditions all " * " And no restriction under where did the error occur. Make sure do not maintain any thing in the alert category. Activate the rule and check the suppress multiple alerts for this rule.

Hi,

Try creating a seperate alert rule for type Adapter and see if this generates the adapter engine alerts.

Also, for the Adapter alerts, keep the check box "Suppress multiple alerts of this rule" unchecked.

Hi,

Also..check if there are any alerts which are not yet confirmed....using ALRTDISP tcode..

and check the report SXMS_LOGREADER to know the logs of the alerts..
