Service contract question

Hi all.

I have the following problem:

I have a customer that creates service contracts but for some contracts, the start date is lets say 15.08.2011. I have noticed that the system does not recalculate the first invoice (15.08.2011 - 31.08.2011) based on the number of days left until end of month. Is there any automatic feature to do this or what can be a solution for this ?

Hi,

When you put date as 15.08.2011 then system will calculate up to 14.09.2011, this is because your billing date rule currently may be 53 monthly

Assign billing date rule 11-end of last month + 1 month so system can calculate

Hi there.

Actually, the system proposes as end date month 31.08.2011 but it calculates the value of the invoice as if the start date of the contract is 01.08.2011 and not 15.08.2011. (this situation is only for the first month of invoicing of course).
