Hi,

I am doing a message mapping between the external messsage xsd and the IDOC.

When I check the mapping it gives an error as Mapping not sufficiently defined.

The target structure is

ORDERS05

IDOC

EDI_DC40

I have mapped the ORDERS05 node to the root node of the XSD.Or do I need to map it ot the constant?

Please help me.

Thanks in advance

you do not need to map the root IDOC node....that will have a default occurence of 1

If you have mapped EDI_DC40 to any of the source nodes then there are sub-fields which need to be mapped.

Hi,

You need to map all the fields which are in RED color in mapping editor target IDOC structure.

HI Swetha,

Please check if there are any mandatory fields which has to be mapped in your target structure...if all mandatory fields are mapped then you would be able to test your mapping...

Hello,

When I check the mapping it gives an error as Mapping not sufficiently defined.

In your target message structure, look for nodes that have red and yellow color and then map accordingly. The mapping will not run if these colors exist, so complete your mapping first before using the test mapping under test tab.

Hope this helps,

Mark

Hi ,

Map ORDERS05 node with a constant and IDOC node also with a constant.
