WBS is closed status , but balance is not 0 ?

Dear Expert,

We have one project , which WBS is close status, but when I check the balance via CJI3, the balance is not 0.

What we don't understand is , if the balance is not 0 , how this WBS can be closed. Normally , when we try to close the WBS, there is one error message to say the balance is not 0 ...

Where is the problem ? what I should check ?

Hi,

yes it is possible.

Check the settlement profile settings; there are 3 settings as;

1. to be settled in full

2. can be settled

3. not for settlement

If the setting is at 2nd or 3rd the object can be closed without having balance zero.

Harsh.

Hello Shubin,

It is possible there is an inconsistency. Follow the steps below to repair:

1) Run report RKANBU01 for the project to correct the COOI table first.

2) After running the report, run report RKACOR04 from SAP Note 21649 for the project.

3) Then run transaction CJEN for the project. THIS IS IMPORTANT as the project database needs to be updated.

You can check if commitments still exist on an object with either report CJI5 or report RKACSHOW and checking table

COOI. See SAP Note 152571 for further information.

Regards,

Brendan
