Can You Please Tell me How to import a Function module in to XI Design

You have a option to imported objects under your SWC which can connect to R/3 system and can import the RFC and IDOCs into XI design.You have to give R/3 connection paramerters there.

I do not know where is this SWC(softeare component) where in I can import the RFC's and Idoc's in to the RFC

Hi Srinivas,

Do like this, for example if your Software Component is

SAP BASIS

--SAP BASIS 6.40 --> Double Click here

In the Screen displayed (on right panel), goto <b>Definition</b> Tab

Select Radio Button for

*Import of RFC and IDOC Interfaces from SAP System Permitted

and provide following connection parameters

Connection Data for Import from SAP System

System: ABCD (Your SAP R/3 System Name, Hostname)

Client: 800 (Client to which you login under R/3)

Note: Function Module should be RFC Enabled!

you can import in any SCV but provided your SC is defined as allow import of RFC and IDOCs. Then if it is so u can import them under imported objects link.
