SRM Classic Scenario: Material master procurement - price data

Hi,

We are using SRM7 with ECC6 in classic scenario. We are using buying in SRM using material masters. If I have a PIR or contract with a unit price for the material, when selecting the source of supply, the price is not being defaulted - standard behaviour or do I need to use a BADi to enter the price automatically.

if I replicate the contract or PIR into MDM and select the material from MDM, will this make a difference?
