access key

Hi friends,

I registered a access key on market place.

try to create a table in SE11, after keyin the access key , msg shows incorrect key.

first line of message box say " you are not registered as a developer.." while how come I am able to apply for the access key if I am not a registered developer..

Please advise,

Hi Linda, ask your basis consultant to give you 'Developer Access'.

While anybody can get an access key but only developers/ developer roles can use it in SAP.

Yes Linda only Developers can create tables in SE11.

Thank you for ongoing support!

It just went through the access key for developer.

However for object key, system always say the key is incorrect. Please advise if I have to specify the correct object type ? If yes please advise how to locate the correct object type I am changing, for example SE11..

welomce..for SE11 objects generally it is R3TR and TABL.

However when you go to SE11 and enter the table name and press create system automatically asks for access key..it is a good idea to send this screenshot and ask for access key.
