Login to the domain controlare with client 000 execute the tcode stms>system overview>double click on transport controller and go to change mode and then-->transport tool

Add the parameter : system_pf with
<hostname>\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\Profile\Default.pfl

Hi,

OK, I tried that.

system_pf ->
xxx564d\sapmnt\SID\profile\DEFAULT.PFL

It is saved

Btw , system is AIX

And now what to do next ?

PS: Shodulnt it be ?

SID/SYSTEM_PF = /sapmnt/SID/profile/DEFAULT.PFL

or

SID/SYSTEM_PF = /usr/sap/DEC/SYS/profile/DEFAULT.PFL

for Unix :

/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile is a softlink to /sapmnt/<SID>/Profile. So, basically, the location is same.

if you go to the location /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/ and do the "ls -ltr" command, you can see the link.

Can I ask why you put:

system_pf with
<hostname>\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\Profile\Default.pfl

with:
?? Is it necessary ?

Thanks

So the only things I did are:

SID/SYSTEM_PF = /sapmnt/SID/profile/DEFAULT.PFL

and change the distribution immediately.

Then I was trying to run RDDNEWPP in as DDIC in 000 to reschedule RDDIMPDP job, but still did not work

When I do:

hostname:sidadm 7> tp pf=TP_DOMAIN_DEC.PFL connect SID

initial value of NLS_LANG: 'AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8'

This is tp version 372.05.14 (release 700, unicode enabled)

Connection to Database of SID was successful.

: Bad file number

Can you try to ping nlvcpac2d to see if it resolves. Also, what is your transport directory (TRANS_DIR value) ?

Do the files exist in trans/log

Hello all

Ping KO:

39 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss

It is strange because I have never seen this hostname before.

How can I check TRANS_DIR value ?

No dumps for DDIC either

In /usr/sap/trans/bin you'll have a transport profile file. Can you open that file and list the contents ? Check the value of of transdir and $(SAPTRANSHOST)

Alternatively, you can execute # tp showparams <sapsid> and paste the output
