Tracking of defective equipment

Hi,

If we are sending defective material outside for repairs,how it is mapped in SAP and how it would be tracked.

Hi,

You can send it outside via Sub -Contracting ..if your in ECC6.0 ,EHP4 , SAP has provide option of generating sub-contracting PR from maintenance Order

The equipment should have a serialised material assigned in IE02 and brought to store ..
