Error while creating customer

Hi,

While creating customer in XD01 ,I am getting this error "customer xxx is not assigned for company code xx".

I have done all the assignments and also account grps is created and properly assigned.

Plz help.

Hi,

Are you trying to create customer with reference to some other customer?

If yes then first assgine company code to the existing customer using transaction XD01 or FD01 (This will let you extend the customer to the company code) and then create new customer with reference to old one.

Old Customer ABCD maintained for company code 1234

and if you creating new customer for company code 6789 with reference to customer ABCD then first extend customer ABCD to company code 6789.

Hi Ritu,

Create the same customer in XD01 and give the reference of your previous customer,company code and sales org...similarly for new cust code put the company code...This will extend your new cust to company code..

u have created cust only for sales org and not for comp code so u need to create for comp code as well..

Try dng it..it wil work...

You Need to enter Comapny Code in XD01 Screen.

When you go to XD01 Screen - Enter Company Code for company Code Data

and Sales Area to get Sales data...

You must not have entered company code in initial screen of xd01 or partner functions are not assigned to your account group.try it

Hi

While creating the Customer via XD01 have you entered the Company Code in initial screen?? If not then extend your customer through T-code FD01 for your Comapny Code.
