Changing mileage flat rate

Hi All,

I want to change the mileage flat rate in Travel management. Please advice on below questions.

1) Apart from table V_T706F do I need to maintain this anywhere?

2) Apart from just creating an expense claim by putting Kilometers, what and all testing I need to do?

3) Please let me know is there any problem if I am changing the mileage rate without giving an effective date (Delimiting)?

Hi,

please find my reply below.

There is no other place to maitain mileage flat rates.

2) Apart from just creating an expense claim by putting Kilometers, what and all testing I need to do?

Positive Test: create a trip with kms which includes new mileage rates.

Negative Test: create a trip with kms for previous date(old mileage rates)

3) Please let me know is there any problem if I am changing the mileage rate without giving an effective date (Delimiting)?

If you donot give the effective date, the new mileage rate will be picked for previous dates.This is not correct. As per legal requirements of a country, you should provide an effective date of new mileage rates.
