BPC Installation

Dear All,

SAP NetWeaver 7.3 , Windows.

We installed new BI server , now need a link where I can download the BPC client add-on (actual version).

Pls confirm below points about BPC Client software :

1, BPC is front end like SAP gui if yes let me know where can i download in SMP and let me know the path ???

2, is this any Addons we have apply on BI server which is related to BPC like CPMBPC software component ?? if yes let me know the path in Service market palce ???

3, Pls provide more details about BPC software installation.

CPMBPC 7.5 will not support for netwaver 7.3 so we are plan to install BPMCPC addon 8.0

No, BPC is a server application. It needs to be installed on a seperate server (51038231\DATA_UNITS\BPC_SERV_75)

Client is a different issue. You should install "51038231\DATA_UNITS\BPC_CLNT_75" into the user PC

As an additional information, "51038231" is the CD number

You should import "K-750AGINCPMBPC.SAR" into the ABAP system

i have checked my server --> Stauts

Operating system Windows NT

Machine type 2x AMD64 L

Platform ID 562

but i have checked SP for CPMBPC only availbale for win32 in SMP .

kindly suggest

It is a native 32-bit application, but it will run on 64 machine with the 32 bit emulation mode. It will be done, autıomatically. You don't need to do any additional effort.

Let me know list of addon patches needs to apply on BI server , so that according i can download the patches from service.sap.com .

addon patch list for CPMBPC component .

Note : OS is windows 64 bit and DB is MSSQL , SAP NetWeaver 7.3

the required patches of CPMBPC ... u will find at SAP Application Components-> SAP BPC FOR SAP NETWEAVER -> SBOP PC 7.5 FOR SAP NW -> Comprised Software Component Versions -> SAP CPM BPC ABAP 7.5 -> Support Packages

You can find the CPMBPC Add-on Installation in bundled in package with media label 51038231 from SAP Application Components -> SAP BPC FOR SAP ->NETWEAVER" SBOP PC 7.5 FOR SAP NW. You will find K-750AGINCPMBPC.SAR file within this package.

Please maintain same patch levels for CPM BPC ABAP 7.5 && CPM BPC CLNT 7.5 && CPM BPC 7.5 FOR NW

Do you want to mention "Business Planning and Consolidation" with BPC? If it is, you can find it under the path, below;

Go to service.sap.com/swdc -> Software Downloads -> Search for Software Downloads -> Enter "SBOP PC 7.5 FOR SAP NW

" as a search criteria

Could pls clarify the below we received mail from Customer , pls advise .

While checking the InfoProvider on SID of new instance , I verified that BPC InfoArea is missing.

Are you sure that the process installation was finalized and that the system is ready for use?

Once the installation is finished I will need an account created on BPC Administration Interface.

I have no further information about BI side. I suggest you open a new thread under "Business Intelligence (BusinessObjects / Crystal Solutions)"

Technically, you can install them into same physical host. But, because of the possible technical problems that you may face during the implementation, it would be better to install BPC into the different host.
