Automaticaly deactiveing smtp services in ICM

hi,

we activated SMTP service in SMICM tcode,but it is deactivating automatically

when server is restarted ,how to make this settings default .

Hi Vijju,

Choose Administration ICM Start Options and Set, to set the trace file and the trace level of the ICM.

The default is dev_icm and 1

If the ICM is terminated (due to Restarted by the admin guys), it is automatically restarted by the dispatcher. You can control this behavior by choosing Administration - ICM then Restart Yes or No.

If you deactivate the restart and exit the ICM, it will not be restarted. ( No option is there I think so )

If you create SMTP servic with SMICM, it will get always deactivated with next restart of ICM.

How about adding icm/server_port_<xx> parameter with RZ10 instance profile.. i also have not done this but i can see it active in my system, may be you can test it your Dev/Test system first.
