CUP Password is incorrect

Hello all,

after creating a new User in CUP Version 5.3 they will receive an Mail with the new Password

unfortunately the getting password does not work in SAP

message : the password is incorrect

what should we do ?

Is this a parameter entry which we need to set in SAP ?

or maybe a customizing problem in GRC / CUP ?

Hi Vito,

Did you implement any recent changes with regards to password parameters in the ABAP system??

What happens with the password supplied by the Password self service? Are the users able to login with it.

Hi Raghu,

as I know we have not change some Parameters in SAP

Do you know which parameter I have to check ?

our Password self service is not in used ( unfortunately )

Hi Vito,

If you haven't changed any password parameters, it should not create a problem. I hope you need to open a OSS message, since this issue looks very unique.
