HR forms in ECC 5.0 and ECC 6.0

Hi,

What are the pre-requisites and the configurations required for using HR forms? We are not able to activate the form and it gives an error of a layout file missing at the server.

Do we need to install certain softwares or files to use the feature of HR forms?

We solved the problem...

You don´t have to activate them by double-klicking on the forms and activate them on the next screen but only activate them entering "hrforms" --> klick on the form you wish to activate --> Menu: Form --> Activate

...what for simple solution......

I have only problems with the print programms (for example: /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_PRNT) which are missing field "P_IPVIEW". The other two things mentioned above are activated. Does anybody know the solution?

Hi,

You need to create the layout first by clicking on the layout button, in HRFORMS modification screen.

activate the layout.

Prerequiste of activating the HRFORMS are

1. Data Dictionary structure

2. smartfroms/form builder layout

both created and activated.

Kindly check in your server Java Stack is available or not.

To check this consult your basis team.

If it is not there, then you have to install Java stack on your server.

Hi Neha,

To watch PDF forms u must have

Adobe Live cycle Designer version > 6.0

SAP Patch level > 13

Adobe Acrobat reader 7.0.

Install all this on your server.

I think it will solve ur problem.

I am not clear what you mean by <b>HR FORMS</b>?

Do you mean HR ISR/PCR - Adobe Interactive Forms?

Or do you refer to the Standard HR Forms which are created using <b>PE51</b> txn?

Hi Raja,

For HR module , to bulid the payslips, pay journals, the desgins of the form in the layout is similar.

But we wont design the Interface from SFP, We have to slect the structure from Metanet ( I think ). Then automatically the interface will be generated.In the SFP you have drag the struture to context and proceed the design in the layout.

Thanks a lot for the reply; but I think we already have these things, assuming that you are talking about the ABAP patch level (which is already 14 whereas the HR patch level is 5 on the server).

See we are able to create these forms but the error comes while activation and we have different errors:

one is an error of a missing layout file on the server.

another says syntax error in the print program

and one more which says the action was cancelled ny the user.

Please let me know if you are familiar with these errors.

And is there some basis configuration required for the HR forms??
