Solman configuration

Dear Gurus,

Recently we have upgraded solman to SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 .

In Daily monitoring we have to go to each server individually and execute tcode.

Instead of monitoring individually in each server we are planning to configure all servers in solman so that from SOLMAN(centrally) we can monitor all servers.

Instead of CCMS monitoring is there any other way?

Please guide to go ahead.

Alternative to CCMS, You can use Central System Administration via DSWP -> Solution Monitoring

Please read the information available.

Hi,

You can configure RCA Workcenter in solman system for your requirement.

If you dont like the CCMS agents, you'll need to use some other monitoring tool like Xandria (that will have its own agents). For central monitoring, there has to be some medium with which the data is transferred. SAP recommends using solution manager and configuring the alert framework (workcenters).

Try to search more on DSWP and workcenter configuration.

Hi,

I don't see any other option available like CCMS. Is there any specific reason you don't want to use CCMS ?

Thanks

Sunny
