Visual Administrator Settings for Service SAP XI Adapter:I

Hi,

we have connection problems of the adapter Framework to the xi mapping engine. See

We did not found any solution to that problem till now.

I have no idea, why xi always uses the URL https://hpsaps01.inveos.com:8001/sap/xi/engine?type=entry instead of the normal http port that was configured in SLD pipeline url.

Checking the Settings in Visual Administrator, I fond some setting that seems to be incorrect.

In Service <b>SAP XI Adapter:XI</b> the properties were set like this:

xiadapter.isconfig.sapClient=<b>100</b>

xiadapter.isconfig.sapLanguage=de

xiadapter.isconfig.url=<b>http://localhost:50080/sap/xi/engine?type=entry</b>

xiadapter.isconfig.username=XIAFUSER

Our Client of the integration engine is 300. Shouldn't the property set to 300 too?

The Property xiadapter.isconfig.url makes no sense to me. The port and the service seems to be incorrect.

Could anybody help, telling me how these properties have to be set?

Hi,

I've found the problem in the Exchange Profile.

The Property com.sap.aii.connect.secure_connections was set to "messaging"

After clearing the property, everything works fine.

now is blank? (i.e. do not enter anything for it?)

PS: according to the doc, it should be either

messaging OR all.

Jennifer,

well the property controls the use of ssl communication for the listed components. I don't want to use ssl in our test system. So i set the property to blank.

If you need ssl communication, this was no solution for you.
