Sub Project in Project.

Hi All,

I have created a Project.! in schedule tab of the created Project , Added a sub project(created earlier).

I want to know what exactly will be the relationship between parent project and sub project?

Its acting similar to an event in the parent project. Will there be any change in behavior of Reports?

Any help would be appreciated!!..

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by a 'sub project'. The tab scheduled items contains the different tasks or milestones a project goes through. It has nothing to do with a sub project.

The projects will be individual stand-alone objects, but there should be a parent/child relationship between the two...but most notably, sub-projects' schedule items should roll up to the parent project's schedule for reporting purposes. The SAP online help is not very helpful on this topic.
