what are the benefit for the process industry can expect from SAP QM module

Can you any body send me some link for some documnet were i can have some idia on Process industries with QM

and also pls send me some link for laboratary related activty in QM

QM in process Industry

1. QM for inprocess inspection (Inspection type 03)

2. QM for Finished Goods (Insp type 04)

3. QM for Packing material / Raw material (Insp type 01)

4. Inspection for bulk/stored or daily inspection at processing plant (Insp type 01 Manual lot)

5. You use a process order instead of a production order for a process industry

Incase you send your process details or explain the process and inspection requirements i will able to guide you

You can also send me scenarios where you want to use QM or also sent the PFC such that i can look at it and suggest you were u can use QM

Hi Faisal,

QM in process industry can have a significant difference from Automobile or Production industry.

1.Batch management

2.Recurring inspection

3.Inspection points along with sample drawing procedure in Inspection planning.

4Stability Studies are performed in process industries to examine how different conditions affect a product over a specified

period of time

5.Instead of Production orders Process order are used in Process industry.

6.When process order is used inspection planning will be done in the Master Recipe

7.When PP-PI is used inspection results shall be recorded in the PI sheet

The main function of QM in process industry is in-process inspection and post process inspection.
