Hi Experts,
I have little doubt regarding the installation of SCM 7.0 EHP1.
After I have finished the installation of SCM 7.0 EHP1 still the component version it is showing as SCM 7.0
and not SCM 7.0 EHP1.Apart from this everything is fine as far as software component are concerned, they are
showing correct version as 7.01 for SCM components and 7.02 for netweaver components.
Anyone who has done the installation can clarify whether for them also the version is coming as 7.0 and not 7.0 EHP1.
It's normal. for example in ECC6.0 EHP4, it shows SAP ECC 6.0. Our basis team also confirms that it's not an error. It doesn't affect your system.

Hi Claire,
I have few more doubts regarding installation.
First let me clarify you on our scenario.
We are doing a distributed installation where our CI will be on
one server and DB will be on another server and we will do stanalone
installation of livecache on CI server,so finally we will have
CI and livecache on one server.
DB on another server.
But we are facing issues during installation of DB server , it
was asking us to provide the livecache filesystem and dvd's.
Until we have created the filesystem for livecache and provided the
dvd's the installation was not going forward.
After creating filesystem for livecache and providing DVD's
installation went well and it has installed livecache and db on that
server.
Then we have installed standalone livecache on CI server and after that
we have installed CI ,while installing CI it has again asked for
livecache DVD's but it has only installed livecache client on CI server.
According to you it will only install Livecache client on DB and there
is no need for livecache filesystem but until or unless we have created
the filesystem the installation didn't went forward,so our query here is that is there any option that we can use to skip that livecache
installation.
We are using Live cahe. But our questions was more on the
installation part when we were installing oracle Database on
distributed landscape it was asking for Live cache DVD and file system
for /sapdb. How to avoid this as we will install LiveCache on
standalone server.
